Our Story

The roots of PaperBlazer go back to 2004. At that point, our founder earned a graduate degree in English and tutored international students at the Ball State Writing Center. That hands-on experience laid the groundwork for the future — real, personal writing help, with faster turnaround and led by a college professor.

After relocation to Chicagoland, a mission began to help internationals at Northern Illinois University. Editing involved meeting with graduate students and assisting with dissertation revisions. Those early days paved the way for what would soon come — an English service that would help people around the world.

PaperBlazer began as a business in 2012. No one knew what to expect. The American-based company began small, with the first order being less than $5. Yet, in a matter of months, the proofreading and editing company grew and grew — dramatically increasing the number of clients and number of projects. Writers of all kinds knew that PaperBlazer was special. 

Unlike other services that resort to overseas outsourcing and unethical plagiarism, we remain true to our core principle: Words matter, and you matter.
